  • CON review is not triggered when there is a hospital sale/purchase/lease
  • CON review is not triggered when there is a hospital transfer of control
  • CON review is not triggered when there is a loss of health care service(s)

2. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF REVIEW BOARD & TRANSPARENCY: C

  • Nebraska does not have an appointed review board to review CON applications
  • The staff of the Department of health and Human Services conducts the CON review
  • There are no requirements for consumer participation in the review process

3. REVIEW STANDARDS: F
